I have most recently been working with semiotics, and how we as a species are controlled by meanings and understandings that we have translated and designed ourselves. This idea of using symbols and signs in everyday life is a big part of my work; the way in which we take objects, odors, sounds and textures and translate them fascinates me. I use this idea with the theme of urban society, looking at found objects and public spaces to develop my practice.

'F**kin with the filth', Acrylic, screenprint on plywood, 46 x 36cm, £100
'Modern day clown', Acrylic, screenprint on plywood, 46 x 44.5cm, £100
'Stop the war machine' Acrylic, screenprint on plywood, 56 x 30.5cm, £100

My work is mainly centered on an urban theme I work with things in urban society, materials like found objects, stencils and spray paints, combined with public urban spaces making my comment of society, these are the things that excite and motivate me to work, I have also been focused on the use of signs, protest, control and semiotics, and am now looking into silk screen printing.
