I am interested in the transforming marks and changes which occur over time. I work with natural and non-traditional materials; exploiting their ability to change and visualise science based concepts. These transformations also have reference to the human condition. My work embraces a range of outcomes including mixed media, sculpture, photography and film.

This piece explores the relationship between being female and ageing skin. The materials and processes relate to stereotypical female ideas; including paper formed from pulping beauty magazines. The magnified skin “cells” are sown and collaged in a composition reflecting deterioration over time.
